Analyze some Data

Hi there, I've been working with Excel since before '98 and I've been using all possible versions of it. I have years of experience working with macros and writing / debugging VBA code. You may check my portfolio images to see few pieces of my work. (This is what I do on daily basis). I am a professional and I can do a very good job. Also accurate. From my experience, there are some issues with connection references when it comes of Sybase. I can't say from start this will work, but I am willing to give it a try and search for a solution. I could not leave a comment/question, so I guess I'll do it here. For this job, what kind of access will be given? Will access to the network the database is on be granted - or a mocked up dummy database provided with sample data and identical database schema? I put in a long time to complete because I don't know enough about this project to give a good estimate on how long it will take. It could very well take me 2 days or 20 depending on the complexity. But if this is simply writing a small application that can be scheduled via windows scheduler or crontab and deployed to a server with access to the database, to spit out an XLS or CSV or something of the like, then 2-5 days is a more reasonable estimate.

If I understand well, you need very easy 'Select Script'. I can develop a small program for you. You can export your data by excel, pdf or txt format. You can set connection settings over program, and the script would extract data over my program. I have not exprience about Sybase system but all Relational Database System works by same logic.
