I need help to design an display holder for my dashboard, this i pure hobby and have not any marked value.
Maybe it's better to just carve out something in wood and mold myself. But I would like to see about someone
has time to do this in low cost since my self used to do 3D modelling with solid works earlier I eager to see this done.
The project properly fits best for an student or similar with and low cost 3Dprinter like ultimaker or makerbot ?
However if you don't have your own 3D printer it's still ok, but files need to be delivered for 3D print.
Attached is two pictures, one showing the dashboard with the place for the LCD holder. (red dot)
Other picture's showing the display with development board, only display should be in the holder.
And a cable will be routed out on the left hand.
This need to be build low profile and maybe an little articulated head for compensation for misfit of pedestal and personal adjustment.
I will properly need to do an mold of dashboard shape and send to you and 3D printer for adjustments.
Properly it will be need to print lowest part of pedestal 2-3 times and adjust to get proper shape.
As well with the display itself.
I'm very exited to see about this is doable for an hobby project.
