I have used virtualbox for around ten years and I always use bridged connections. This is on windows, MacOS and Linux. I have never had a problem with wireless connections, promiscuous or not. I almost feel guilty charging you for this, almost :) Me posting a screenshot of a working setup will not help you as the problems is certainly on your end. I can however connect up via remote desktop or team viewer and fix it for you. Contact me and we can get a solution.

Hi, Wi-Fi except WDS disallows many mac address from one client, so bridge with client's wifi interface will not work. Regards, Alexander
