We have a problem when compiling with static library.
We have modified OPENSSH ([url removed, login to view]) for doing certain routine tasks. The problem is that it is working on the base system that was compiled on, but when we move it on another system we get get this error:
OpenSSL version mismatch. Built against 1000208f, you have 1000105f
So we must compile OPENSSH with OPENSSL statically. Already tried some flags like
./configure --without-openssl-header-check --with-ldflags=-L/usr/local/staticlib --with-cppflags="-I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/ssl/include"

I compile software software for a Supercomputer on a regular basis, and part if that is fixing the oddities the scientists who coded the software introduced.
