Hello, We are a small game server, and we are looking for a skilled freelancer to help us to design a .wav player which read the audio files from memory. Our game loads all our encrypted files, one of them has some of our wav files ( that must to be protected ), and right now, we are unable to play these audio files in our game due to current game structure. We will provide descriptions of all functons involved and allow the freelancer to work in our game source through TeamViewer if needed ( debbugging and testing porpouses ), but we CANNOT send our game source, to avoid leaks. Our game source is written in C++ as the title says, so please apply only if you have knowledge in the field. In attach, our resource Struct so you can see and understand what's in our game memory. ( this file is incomplete, more details can be sent if needed )

Hi, I have already a component(a dll) that allow playing wav files from memory. With only few functions you will be able to create wav memory reading,playing it,pause,stop,set positions etc. The dll is written in C++ and can be easily be added to your configuration. Best regards, Ionut

Having worked extensively with FFmpeg, we can surely find a solution that allows you to play any kind of streams from memory in a flexible and configurable way. We don't need the application sources, but rather a detailed description of the data layout in memory, the network transfer conditions and the application calling interface.

Hi, I did a dll for a customer here on Freelancer. The dll plays audio buffer that is created in the Mathcad (this is a mathematical package you know of course). For your purposes, we can use the same approach. You're in the game will decrypt the file and then call my library to play. We can discuss other solutions. Thanks
