I am an experienced writer and editor with an excellent general knowledge, an inquisitive mind and a strong understanding a number of topics. I tend to specialise in writing for the food and hospitality industry, but am well equipped to cover a number of topics beyond that particular field. I have written and edited annual tourism / hospitality related guides for over a decade, and I have a popular hyperlocal blog. I have three years experience as Managing Editor at a creative agency specialising in content marketing and I have been editor of a number of client magazines during my time there. I have written about many topics, including food, wine, art, culture, town planning and development. I tend to write with a touch of whimsy, a dash of humour and the occasional slug of irreverence, but I can be as sober as a judge when called for. I may sulk occasionally if my clients do not appreciate my witty prose, but will be happy to change course as required to achieve the desired outcome.
