Copywriter (German Speaking)

In order to enhance the promotion of our business activities across the German-speaking regions of Europe, our client is seeking a German speaking Copywriter. This hands-on role will focus on developing our promotional content in the German language and making effective use of that content on the web and through other channels. Translation of this content into English is also required. Training will be provided to understand products and markets, and to enhance skills in creating high quality copy and designs that results in sales of our products. Key Responsibilities: 1. Research products and services to be promoted, identifying key features and benefits. 2. Write compelling copy that is also effective in achieving high Google rankings 3. Create attractive promotional material such as web copy, mailings and adverts etc 4. Use known influencing triggers in promotional design 5. Production of short but effective video content for the website 6. Use all suitable channels and techniques to ensure promotional content reaches the widest possible target audience 7. Review and measure the effectiveness of promotion, 8. Learn from successes and failures to adapt for future content creation and promotional activities 9. Recommend new promotional ideas for consideration 10. Maintain a rolling program of existing content refresh and extension Skills / Experience / Attributes The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities: 1. Previous experience within a similar position is essential 2. Native German speaker and fluent in English 3. Creative copywriting skills 4. An understanding of German industrial manufacturing business culture, engineering and the associated terms 5. Professional and confident communicator 6. A natural, professional, compelling writing style with good grammar 7. Excellent attention to detail 8. A flair for producing visually appealing designs 9. Ability to quickly learn new topics from various sources 10. Ideally a proven track record of generating high quality sales leads from the creation and promotion of web content
