On-Line Curriculum Writer Job Summary: The ideal candidate is an experienced technical writer responsible for organizing, writing and editing published curriculum and online courses. Responsibilities • Update current course material using internal and external resources • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other curriculum developers to ensure quality of the products • Write test questions to ensure users master the material • Write course objectives, outlines, and exams • Review and edit published curriculum and online courses to ensure accuracy and adherence to style guides Desired Skills and Experience • Exceptional writing, organizational, and analytical skills • Exceptional copyediting/proofreading skills • Ability to adhere to writing style to maintain a consistent voice across the instructional courses • Experience developing instructional materials in a wide variety of content areas • Comfort in writing materials in unfamiliar content areas • Ability to analyze content material for effective presentation • Ability to organize and work with large amounts of information • Experience with Articulate Storyline E-learning and Adobe • Experience with continuing/adult education; occupational education and E-learning courses • Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities and meet established deadlines • Background with Insurance/Traffic/Occupational education preferred • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to be a "team player" To be considered, a cover letter is requested along with your resume and writing samples
