We require articles written for our website. Word count should be between 200-350 words depending on the information available. Writers will be provided with sources, most of it will require simply compiling several sources together (news stories, forum posts) into one article with no original research required.
The main topics will be issues such architecture, urban planning, and design. It shouldn't take you more than an hour to produce an article and we will be after several a week with the possibility of more in time.
We ultimately hope to find one writer who will be able to contribute regularly. Our previous freelancer, before she died, had a relationship with us for eight years and we hope to again develop a long-term association.
Applicants should be fluent in English, able to work quickly, and have some form of common online instant messaging so we can discuss any issues.
Although you are expected to write competent work that is publishable in the form you submit it, articles will be revised by someone else to make sure they fit the house style and are free of plagiarism. You won't have to post any content yourself and it will all be reformated. UK English is a bonus, but we can fix that anyway :)
