jpegtoavi is a small, open source program which converts a set of separate JPG files in to a MJPEG AVI file. You can download it from its web site: [url removed, login to view] jpegtoavi is written for Linux, but works under Windows with Cygwin / GCC easily, if you simply add the line in the source code: “typedef long long off64_t;?? then compile with “make all??. Note that Cygwin must be installed in "unix" file-ending mode (the default) for this to work. This project is to write a Delphi program which does the same thing as jpegtoavi, except with a few Delphi / Windows features: * a simple GUI to select the parameters * a way to select a directory for the input JPGs, rather than a file at a time * progress bar to show progress The code must be well modularized: specifically, the core functionality must be in a separate Delphi .pas file, not mixed in to the GUI. It must be possible to use this .pas file alone as a library inside of another Delphi program. Test the software by getting a set of JPG files, running them through jpegtoavi and also through the new software, and verify that the exact same .avi file is produced. I can provide a set of sample JPG files (which represent video frames) for this. I will release this software as open source, just like the original jpegtoavi.

## Deliverables

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
