Assignment In this assignment you are required to implement the abstract data type BandMatrix as ex- plained in x2 and x3, and design a test program showing the correct working of each of the member functions. You must use the Matrix class interface of x1 for BandMatrix but modify the implementation by choosing appropriate data members, nding a suitable mapping function for locating elements in the data member element, and implementing the member functions. More precisely, you do the following. 1. Copy the Matrix class denition into a header le (BandMatrix.h). 2. Change the name of the class to BandMatrix and modify its private section as appropriate. 3. Explain, in your header le as comments, how you have constructed the element mapping function. 4. Implement each member function of the class and write the implementation in the le BandMatrix.cc. 5. Write pre- and post-conditions (if any) for each member function. 6. Write a test program (in [login to view URL]) showing the use of each member function that you have implemented. In your test program you should have a function to input a matrix Shahadat Hossain Matrices 5 (i.e., number of rows and columns, lower and upper band width, and the elements of the matrix) interactively. No le input/output is required. Marks will be awarded as follows 1. Choice of appropriate data structures and explanation of the correct mapping function in the header le: 20 points. 2. Correct implementation of the member functions: total of 50 points. 3. Correct/appropriate pre- and post-conditions : 20 points 4. Use of appropriate comments: 10 points. 5. Use of good coding style: 10 points. 6. The test program implemented according to the specication: 10 points.
