I'm an artist living in Geneva-Switzerland and I have a new video project I'd like to produce for an exhibition in Zurich in a bit more than a month. I'd like to create a 3D animation of a building, the Lingotto in Turin, that would been made out of melted chocolate like the Indian Palace in Disney's Willy Wonka. I'm attaching pictures. The video should be around 2 minutes (rough guess), the intention is to be a bit surrealistic and abstract, probably a very unsaturated image. Now that I talk to 3D people I realise the work load! I don't want a lot of camera movements in the video. something very slow and minimal. so the building doesn't need to be modelled in the tiny details. I'd like that the building melts, no drips or splashes. background probably black. I'm moving to 3D cause I want to be able to create something that is not possible in real life, something slick, an extension of reality. The video comes in a installation with 3D printed chocolate sculpture on concrete pedestal. I'm a bit tight in time I know but I want something simple (as hard as it can sound!). The video will be displayed on HD screen, probably 40".

Hi, Very interesting project, I would love to b part of it and do my best to deliver the result you expect in the shortest delays, yes there is too much work to model that building and later make it melt like chocolate... and choosing the right camera angles and shots another story... but I think it's feasible and the result can be impressive and highly artistic, I visualize this already iin my and I like it very much. the Swiss and Chocolate is an eternal love story haha.

Hi, It seems like interesting project. My name is Dean Kezan and I am certified autodesk 3ds Max professional. I am bidding for this project because I would like to participate in this field but renderings are always too long since people need global illumination. In you project it seems we are not looking for realism which is fine by me. I can also make video from renderings mean motion pictures with audio, you just need to pick music that is not copyrighted. Is this HD TV or Full HD? The HD is 720 and Full HD is 1080 pixels. I would like that we meet on skype or Facetime before accepting the job. I would like to see some sample before.
