I have extensive experience in S/W testing and good understanding of the testing process and business process. I am following the below process once assigned to any project 1. Going through the S/W Requirement Specification (SRS)/Business Requirement Specification (BRS)/Business functionality document and understanding the business functionality based on those 2. Suppose if there is no any SRS Or BRS document then need to communicate with the business people/end users 3. If there is any suggestions/issues/required any clarifications needs to be logged into the issue/clarification log 4. Preparing the test outline and test plan documents 5. Preparing the test scenarios (Positive and Negative) 6. Review needs to be done be business analyst/test lead 7. Preparing the test cases 8. Review needs to be done be test lead 9. Incorporate the review comments if any 10. Executing the test cases 11. Defects Identification and Defect Logging 12. Defects Retesting
