I am looking for somebody to create a simplified API library which allows access to the HDMI-CEC bus, this is for an Android Lollipop based Media Player. The hardware supports HDMI-CEC, but I cannot find much information on how to access it the new Lollipop API instructions seem to be geared more towards the creation of the HAL driver side rather than explaining how to actual control anything from within an APP. I would like to be able to send messages to the TV to change input and channel e.t.c and also receive TV remote button presses back e.tc. I suspect this project will be fairly simple for somebody who has done this sort of thing before. There is information regarding the Android API for TV TIF and HDMI-CEC at [login to view URL]
