You will develop a node.js application that will act as an API for a messaging platform. The API will use node.js' module Express JS (version 4), the Amazon Web Services SDK and an authentication module of your choice (e.g. Passport). The API will reside on AWS and will make use of some of its services (e.g. DynamoDB for the database). You should hence have working experience of node.js, Express JS and the Amazon SDK, including having them play together. Goal of this project is to have a basic, working function of the API in place. Afterwards, if you're interested, this could turn into a more long-term assignment or even hiring.

Hello, I'm interested in your project, not sure that I'm most suitable candidate, but we can try. I've done a lot of projects related to AWS infrastructure, have used most of major services (ec2, s3, rds, ebs, balancing, data pipeline). I've done some projects related to different API, but, all of them were written with PHP. I know JavaScript, but for front-end, and never did something serious with server-side JS technologies and frameworks (like node.js). But I'm ready to learn it, I guess nothing extraordinary there.
