Aereospace Engineer

Job Description : Candidate will perform a variety of mass properties (weight, center-of-gravity, and inertia) analysis tasks for the F-35 program. Tasks will include but are not limited to: 1) working with members of the F-35 Weight Management and Control Team and other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to support design and configuration maturation; 2) performing analysis to determine the weight, balance and moment of inertia characteristics of detail parts and assemblies; 3) supporting flight test design and operational weight and balance control activities; 4) managing mass properties data via LM Aero's data management system; 5) supporting trade studies to optimize design; and 6) assisting in the preparation of mass properties status to facilitate program management’s decision making process for ensuring program weight and balance objectives are met.
