Access 2007 - Bookings/Reservation Database

This project is a in-house data entry tour operator (bus) reservations database that will have a MS Access forms interface for customers and sales tables. Drop down list boxes and/or the appropriate form controls will be needed to simplify user data entry (tour description, tour departure city, etc) and search functions. Some form fields will have to be populated and then inserted into the database upon completion of the form. Some updates will also be needed as information may change with the customer. A report (sale) will be needed to snail mail the customer and label printing (address) will be needed. The candidate must have several years of solid experience using MS Access and MS Access 2007. They must be proficient in all aspects of SQL queries, join types, database normalization, inserts, updates, user interface, etc. The candidate will assist another former developer (owner) who has experience with simple MySQL and MS SQL databases, and not with more complex databases or the MS Access UI. The database tables (subject to change) have been created and will be supplied. This project is needed to be completed in the short term and the candidate must be available for online communication should any changes be needed. There are other minor relationships (single, double, triple, quad bookings, etc) in this database that will be fully explained. Certain updates to the structure (table, forms, reports) of the database may be needed over time.
