ColdFusion / .Net Single Sign On

Project Description We have a coldfusion application that needs to have single sign on to a .net app, and the method is to use .net forms. We have documentation from the vendor (SmarterTools) as we are trying to integrate our portal and their SmarterTrack product. From their support: "The cookie must be created using .NET's FormsAuthentication encryption. This is what uses the machine key and domain in the [login to view URL] to create the encrypted value for the cookie." So we need to have ColdFusion pass in the correct info to that mechanism and get this to function. We use ColdFusion 9 or 10 depending on environment. Support in understanding this process is helpful.
