Build Your Own Design

We are a Massachusetts-based Flexographic Printer looking to create a program to be offered on corporate, and product, websites. We are looking for a US-based programmer, with a preference to work with someone in the Northeast, if available. We would want the software based on AJAX web standards (not Flash), w/ heavily documented code and access for small changes to be made via our Internal IT staff. Once basic contact information is entered, the program itself would allow customers to upload a logo and (through 5 steps) create a finished piece of artwork, formatted to meet our production standards. The steps would be: 1. Upload Artwork 2. Select Design Direction (from 4 preformatted templates, each set up for the proper web width & cylinder repeats) 3. Confirm Logo Size & Spacing 4. Confirm Ink Color (from visual representation of PMS Color Chips) 5. Confirm Tissue Color (from approx 65 options, each with a PMS equivalent) Once completed, the program would take the uploaded logo and format it in the selected Design Direction at the size requested. Sizing and Spacing would be automatically calculated by taking the spacing selected, and acheiving the closest possible match within the confines of our web width and cylinder repeat. Customer would have the option of printing either a Black & White, or Color Proof. Proof would be automatically emailed in PDF format (up to 2 addresses) with a copy emailed to an internal address here. Each proof would include a premade Approval Form, and key pieces of information.
