We have a program that we use to import data into our SQL2005 database. We need to make some changes to it, including adding more columns to be imported, and changing the process where it skips records with certain blank fields. I have a program written in C# using the .NET framework that has a photo gallery. The backend is an Access DB. NHibernate is used to bridge the front end to the DB. We are using Visual Studio 2005. The problem we are having is that sometimes a red X is displayed instead of the photo thumbnail. The DB Location appears to be set, but it doesn't show on the front end. You can right click and clear the photo and re-add it and it works. However, every time you add a photo after that it shows the red x and has to be re-added. This appears to be COMPLETELY at random. I would like to have a fix for this. I have attached the code used to load the gallery and add photos. Trying to correct a problem in the following Get situations where CPU is 100% and clients get kicked due to idle timeout when that shouldn't be happening. I've been able to track it down to what appears to be some kind of race condition, where the client idle timeout occurs strangely, causing a related subscribe event to fail midway due to an exception thrown by the instance manager not finding the client. Also want to fix all the problems pointed out in FxCop. End goal is to get this working with 4000 simultaneous connections, but that may not be possible without redoing how events are handled (maybe semaphores?)
