Hello, I have attached a .dgn (MicroStation V8i) file that is a floor plan at 'concept' level () I have also attached a .dgn file that is the same floor plan at a higher level of development () This building has 23 levels in total. Each floor plan needs to be changed from 'example-A' style to 'example-B' style. The example floor plan provided is level 7 of the building. There are an additional 6 floor plans (levels 8, 11, 12, 13, 15 and 16) that are identical in layout to level 7. They will, however, have different RL (Relative Level) text and window and door tags. A macro is needed for Bentley's Microstation V8 (2004) that will perform the following function: 1) Prompt the user to identify a line element 2) Place the line's bearing and distance either a) above the line, or b) below the line.... E.g., S 45^23'34" E 123.45' ------------------------- or ------------------------- S 45^23'34" E 123.45' 3) Drop the dimensioning aspect of the text. That is via DROP ELEMENT > DIMENSIONING. This would allow the text to be rotated without the bearing being updated dynamically. I need the text label/dimension to remain static, and not change, hence the DROP ELEMENT step. 4) Place the dimension without parentheses. E.g, (S 45^23'34" E 123.45') That's it!

We need a utility to split a single Microstation DGN file into multiple output fles based on the assigned Microstation Tag elements. It is a bit like extracting layers into separate files. The input DGN is a circuit diagram. However it represents several smaller circuits... Lets' say N,S,E,W. Some elements are in more than one circuit. Each element has a set of microstation tags indicating which circuit(s) it belongs to. What I need is a batch process to scan the input DGN and produce ,,, and Then we output each of these as a CGM file instead of a DGN So, split 1 DGN into N CGMs files based on the contents of Microstation Tag elements.
