Create the front page of a look book for mixed media arts and live edge furniture

Síntese do concurso

The entry only requires you to get creative in designing the front page. The winner will have the opportunity to finish the project which will consist of 12-15 pages with text and pictures provided. To finish the lookbook another project will be created worth 150 dollars, but will be simple in the sense that a repetitive backround page will be created as a template for our team to be able to add pictures and text on their own. The lookbook software requires a PDF file to be uploaded.
In creating the front page, be tasteful in arranging and working the photo of the artist and adding the text in a way that is attactive, but at the same time keep in mind that the basic background artwork will be repeated on each page, so you are basically creating the template for the whole lookbook.

You can find here picture of his mixed media art and a live edge river table representing his work. You can integrate any elements - it's up to you. But the challenge will be using the given artist's picture to artistically represent him in your design. So start working on that as a priority.

    I want to thank everyone that participated. It was really hard to make a choice between so many talented expression of how the look book would represent this modern mix. If anyone wants to add anything, please, let me know within an hour but it looks like the contest is coming to an end. If you don’t win, please, be sure that it’s not because your artwork wasn’t good enough but only a matter of connecting to the message it was meant.

    Hi, all. Look at the last file uploaded - it is the photo of the artist. I believe the hardest part in this contest is integrating this photo into the front page of the lookbook. also, the last pictures are high quality photos of his art. so you can use some elements if needed.

      The plan is to use FlipHTML5. However, if the winner has better software, we are flexible.

    Hi dear, i think you missed the attachment/links along the way. I made some research and was able to find some pictures of its artwork in the web but nothing with high resolution, please submit some samples if you can and let us know what format and dimensions you need this to be done, i have doubts about how you will use the design (digital, printed, both or even something else).
