Step 1. Use the file from Part 1 and the information contained in this document to assign resources to
the project schedule.
Step 2. Level resources. Splitting of activities is not allowed. Assume that the project is resource
constrained and no additional person is available. After leveling resources, set the project baseline.
Step 3. Submit the MS project file (.mpp) for MSP 2.
Step 4. Submit the following (legible) MS Project printouts in ONE PDF file:
a. Resource sheet with at least the following information:
i. Resource Name
iv. Max Units
v. Standard Rate
b. A Gantt Chart, after leveling, with the critical path highlighted
c. A network diagram, after leveling, with the critical path highlighted
d. A task entry sheet, after leveling, with the following information for each task:
i. Task Name
iii. Start Date
iv. Finish Date
v. Resource Names (make sure this is readable when printed)
vi. Baseline Cost

Microsoft Project file (.mpp extension) 1.00
Resources correctly assigned to each task (correct personnel and number of personnel): 0.50 point
Leveled correctly (be sure to re-level if changes made): 0.20 point
Baseline calculated: 0.20 point
Durations are correct (should be the same as part 1): 0.10 point
Resource Sheet 0.40
Correct number of units (personnel) assigned to each resource: 0.05 point each
Correct rate assigned to each resource: 0.05 point each
Gantt Chart 0.40
Legible and on one page: 0.15 point
Includes the task names (see sample or you can put the task names directly on the chart): 0.10 point
Critical path is highlighted: 0.15 point
Network Diagram 0.40
Legible and on one page: 0.15 point
Critical path is highlighted: 0.25 point
Task Sheet 0.80
Legible and on one page: 0.14 point
Each required column is present: 0.11 point each
In addition, the resource sheet, Gantt Chart, network diagram, and task sheet must be submitted in one PDF file or 0.50 point will be deducted.
If you do not make the appropriate corrections from part 1, points will be deducted again (see MSP part 1 grading criteria for details).
Extra credit: 0.50 point if all numbers are correct on the task sheet and all of the dates are correct. The .mpp file must match your printout.
