GCM Consulting is in the IT business, and would like to build a web site that stores Church hymns pages documents and media then being able to browse and search for and read the stored hymns and being able to listen or watch the related media.
Hymns website description:
What will be stored:
Hymns in multiple formats with a single primary key that can reference the title or the number of the hymn.
Each hymn will have 5 versions under one title:
- Original English or Arabic version in text
- English or Arabic translation in text
- If hymn is in Arabic original, then it will have also an english phonetics version in text
- Sheet music version in pdf scan from music book
- Audio or video version: Recorded audio or video in common format, i.e. mp3, or other compatible with iphone or androd, or link to youtube
So to add one hymns, the administrator must add all 5 versions mentioned above into the repository or database
Administrator can create a playlist that links to a sequence of suggested hymns and assign it to a calendar date so people can simply click on a button then have a list of hymns in sequence to be chanted on that day or displayed on a screen
People can also search for hymns by number or title or author or theme or season
People will have to login as read only users with email and password will only have access to the browsing pages: search or calendar suggestion button of the day
Administrator can login with editing and upload capability to enter hymns text and upload media files for that hymn. Copy and paste are ok.
People must register with their email address to have access to content, people can then login as users. One special login for one administrator to upload content and create program according to calendar.
